Enjoying October

The weather this month has been beautiful, we've had a few weeks to settle into our new normal routine of everyone back at work, and we're doing our very best to enjoy some family time in the few moments of downtime in between. Life is busy. That's all I can say. We all leave the house about 6:15 each morning, Jonathan gets the girls after work, and we try to be home as close to 4 as possible. Of course that doesn't always happen, but when it does, it leaves us a little time before nightly routines to play and enjoy each other.

We attended a birthday party on a rainy Sunday. As you can see, Payton wasn't too impressed while all of her friends were out playing in the rain. We'll blame it on the fact that her she was wearing flip flops that day.
We accumulated a few pumpkins, so one afternoon I brought home paints for the girls to each paint a pumpkin. I was pleasantly surprised at how much Harper got into it. I had no doubt that Payton would sit and paint as long as I would let her.

Haisley even stopped by and joined in on the fun!

Anderson just hung out on the playmate inside.

Payton was the "Top Banana" for her class the second week in October. She got to bring home George (the monkey) and take him on some adventures. We even got to write in her journal what she did with George. She loved every minute.

Harper likes to dress as a "pin-cess" and wear her "tee-ara"

The girls have spent several afternoons outside swinging and sliding.

Payton is so sweet and always pushes Harper on the swing.

Silly, silly.

We've cheered on the tigers!

Anderson got to meet his BFF Benton and hang out while his sister dressed up.

We went to Destin for Heather's wedding. It was a very quick trip. The girls managed to find an indoor pool since it got chilly the day we got down there. Go figure!

Brother just pretty much smiled the whole month!

These girls LOVE one another. Words just can't describe it. Luckily, they feel the same way towards their brother also.

We played lots of dress up.

Probably the 2nd picture of me and my little guy since we've been home from the hospital.

Harper said, "Take my picture with brother mommy!"

Somebody is getting a little chunky. Look at that smile!

Anderson hung out at Trunk or Treat while the ballerinas had fun. More Halloween posts to come!

Harper's teacher sent me this picture from her Fall party.

Trunk or treat fun!

Whew! It's been a busy, fun month. I will be back soon with pumpkin patch and Halloween pictures.
