We went to the dr. this month. Our little man is growing, but is still very small! He weighed 10lbs 12. oz. (14th%), 22.5 in. long (24th%) and his head was 15.7in. (72nd%). Again, she said he was growing and his weight and height are proportionate so all is well. He can still wear most of his newborn clothes and 0-3 months. We are beginning to pull out some of the 3 month clothes.
As you can tell, he is a smiling boy. I just love this age when they smile at just about anything and everything that will talk to them. He especially loves when his big sisters get not he floor and play with him.
He's sleeping pretty well! Around 2 months he started consistently giving about 6 straight hours. He would then eat, and go back down for 3-4 more hours. We'll take it! He is still not on any type of nap schedule, but loves napping in his car seat.
Right before 2 months we increased his bottles to 5 oz. He typically takes 5 bottles a day. Although he will still take a pacifier, he definitely has lost some interest in it during this month. Only when he is tired and fighting sleep or hungry, will he really take it.
His head control is really improving and he enjoys looking around. As you can see, we have even put him in the gumbo for very short periods with us sitting right there with him. He's not a fan of tummy time.
Anderson seriously has one of the sweetest dispositions ever. The girls were always good babies so I can't really relate to some people who have a hard first few months. While they were easy, he seriously couldn't get any easier. He still has such a sweet little cry and only uses it when he's hungry or just wants some cuddles.
His big sisters ADORE him and are such the big helpers to us. Whether it's getting his paci, talking to him, or trying to show him his toys, they smother him with love. I couldn't be more thankful for their relationships together. Happy 2 months little man!
