We celebrated Harper's 2nd birthday with a lemonade theme party. After torrential rains for 5 days prior to the party, we were worried that we would be in search of Noah's Ark to make a party happen. By the grace of God, it stopped raining just in time for the party and held off the entire 2 hours. Immediately following the party it started raining again. Our original plan was to have it in the backyard, but since our yard was mush, it was moved to the garage and driveway. Everything worked out perfectly and the kids had fun, which is all the really matters.
The birthday girl was ready for her "paty". I don't think she knew exactly how much fun was in store for her, but she loved it the minute everyone started showing up.
All dressed in her swimsuit ready to play! Our water shy baby showed no reservations playing in it during the party.
She especially loved the little slide going into the baby pool.
We had lots of family and friends to help us celebrate our sweet girl's big day!
We can make the garage look cute, right?
The big kids loved the slide that Ella and Colton let us borrow.
Happy Birthday time!
After the party Harper kept asking to open her presents. Some of the family (who graciously helped us clean up might I add!!!!) stuck around to watch her.
She couldn't quite believe the presents were for her. Of course big sister loved most of them also and encouraged Harper to share!
Harper's 2nd birthday party turned out perfectly. Although the invitation said "Sweet lemonade & Sunshine" at least we didn't have sweet lemonade and downpours. Thank you so much to everyone who helped her celebrate. She is getting to be such a big girl!
