End of School 2015-2016

These posts continue to be out of order, but I'm just trying to get it all in at this point. 

Anderson had a great year in the 2 year old class with Mrs. Hackett and Mrs. G. They had a fun water party to celebrate. Luckily, he got his cast off the day before and was then wearing a brace so it was easier to participate. He has grown so much this year. He also doesn't like being dropped off anywhere (CDO or church) other than his preschool class. He's been with Mrs. Hackett for two years so she will definitely be missed next year. 

Harper of course graduated preschool this year (see post). As stated in the post, she had an amazing year with precious teachers and friends. We couldn't be more thankful! 

Payton is officially finished with first! We are so thankful for Mrs. Culp and all of her love and guidance this year. 

Mommy also finished her 9th year of teaching. We welcomed summer with open arms!

Harper Ballet

As mentioned in her birthday post, Harper has been taking a VIP (Very Important Princess) ballet class this summer. She has absolutely loved every minute. It was a 6 week class, and on the final day they invited the parents in to watch them perform. We got to see several things they did throughout the summer as well as a sweet little dance to "Let it Go." What little girl doesn't want to sing and dance to Disney songs???

She has decided she loved it so much she wants to take in the fall. Hopefully she will continue to enjoy it!

Harper's 5th Birthday

Harper's 5th birthday has been the birthday that never ends. She's been looking forward to being five for quite some time and we lived it up big! She has a great party at Premier with some sweet friends!

That evening we had a family celebration at Nana and Pop's house.

Great Bamama gave her her very own afghan.

The birthday celebration continued into the following week when we invited her school class to our pool for swimming and pizza. She had a wonderful time with her precious friends who helped her celebrate. On her actual birthday (the 2nd) we spent it at the lake celebrating the 4th. Bamama had her convinced the fireworks were all for her birthday. Happy 5th birthday to our precious girl!

A few things about our girl at 5:

She has started ballet this summer and LOVES it! She loves to twirl and dance to music and be her free spirited self. She knows what she wants in life. She also enjoyed gymnastics, imaginative play, and television. She's a junky. Harper is our child who could play for hours in her room without any complaints. She can entertain herself with things I never imagined possible. 

She's still a terribly picky eater, but has actually started asking to try new things lately. We haven't come across too many new foods she actually likes, but willingness to try new things is a huge start. She prefers water and milk over anything else. I seriously have no idea what I"m going to put in the kid's lunchbox this fall!

She adores her brother and sister to pieces. She enjoys mothering Anderson, and she and Payton are best buds (and worst enemies at times). They choose to share a room even though they have their own. 

God definitely put this angel in our lives to make life fun. She's spunky and full of love!

Disney Day 5

Day 5 was Epcot! We started the morning with princess breakfast in Norway.

Daddy and Anderson always seemed to get into something good when they were staying back on a ride because Anderson was too small.

She likes to pretend she's too big for princesses, but she enjoyed it so much! I felt like this may be out last time to really do the "princess thing" so we had to live it up.

Next it was time for the Princess Procession!

We stayed around Epcot and did a few things before riding back over to Magic Kingdom for our last hoorah!

By the time we made it to MK it was scorching, as you can see!

We made an executive decision to see the Hall of Presidents for a cool spot to hang for a while.

We then made our way to Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride.

By this point in the trip, the big girls had figured out they didn't have to ride with an adult on the rides so we got ditched.

Back to Tomorrow Land!

It was an absolutely wonderful trip! The kids were overall well behaved and we got to experience so many new things we hadn't done yet. We learned that we have some thrill seekers on our hands! Until next time...which will be a while! :)
