Easter Chapels

The girls had their sweet Easter chapels again this year and thankfully I was able to attend both since I had an intern. Just as it was last year I believe, it was FREEZING the week of Easter even though it was later in April. Harper had a sweet chapel service where my camera battery died, so the only pictures that I have are from my phone at the egg hunt.

Is she not the cutest little bunny ever? She loved her sweet egg hunt and snack with her friends as well as all of her visitors who came to see her!

Payton's was that Thursday. She did an excellent job singing and listening in her service also.

Her sweet class ready for their hunt on the playground. (It was still chilly, but at least bearable by Thursday.)

The battery was charged this time, so hence the reason for more pictures. Looking back on these sweet pictures already makes me miss her sweet preschool class so much!

Sweet Daddy

As most everyone already knows, these girls have their Daddy wrapped around their finger. One night Payton decided she wanted her fingernails painted and started trying to talk us into doing it...I"m pretty sure it was just about bedtime. Daddy obliged and of course Harper had to jump in on the fun also.

Wouldn't you agree he's a sweet Daddy? He might kill me for posting these :)

Sweet Sisters

This picture was taken one random day in April, but I just adore it. As we were heading home from mom and dad's house one afternoon it was pouring. Payton had an umbrella ready (which was actually Harper's). She was heading out to the car when she turned around, put her arm around her sissy, and proceeded to tell her to stay close to her and she would keep her dry while they got in the car. I can't describe the relationship between these girls. Sure, they fight and aggravate the mess out of one another sometimes, but they love each other so much and the feeling is mutual. I am so proud of how sweet these two girls are to one another and I pray they will always be that way (and with their brother of course also).

First big boy bath!

Anderson had his first big boy bath without the baby tub on April 1! He was really sitting up well so I decided to give it a try. He loved being able to put his hands down in the water and splash around!

Disney on Ice

My blogging in the next few posts may be terribly out of order, I'm just going to try my best to cover highlights.

March 21st (the day before we left for Disney), we went to Disney on Ice in Columbus. Jonathan thought it would be a great way to warm us up for Disney. We had THE BEST seats, right on the ice and perfect viewing. Connie kept Anderson so the girls could have full attention. It was so much fun and all of the kiddos really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it!

Payton

The morning after her dance recital:
P: I think I'm old enough to wear makeup all the time now.
Me: um, I don't think so.
P: But Mommy, it won't hurt me.
Me: (shaking my head), not until you're 12.

Harper

Me: tell me what you're thankful for today
Harper: (no hesitation) turtles, pancakes, and cake
